NL: Wild Style volgt het verhaal van de anonieme, maar gevierde graffitikunstenaar Raymond, bekend onder het pseudoniem "Zoro", en de spanningen tussen zijn kunst en het 'echte leven' waarmee hij wordt geconfronteerd. De film documenteert ook de opkomende belangstelling van de media en de gevestigde kunstscene voor de hiphopcultuur, die zich had ontwikkeld in de achterbuurten.
ENG: Wild Style tells the story of the subway graffiti writer Zoro, played by the legendary Lee Quinones, in his subway romance with the graffiti queen, Sandra PINK Fabara. Fab Five Freddy stars as the smooth impressario PHADE. They run from the train yards to the clubs, with Grand Master Flash, Busy Bee, the Cold Crush and Rock Steady Crew.
